We’re a community of dreamers, misfits, and wanderers who've banded together around a single goal: to connect you to the art you love and the artists who create it by immersing you in their stories and points of view.
Founded by a working artist, our mission is to make fine art accessible, give artists equity in their work, and build a global community of art lovers and makers. That means focusing our core values — integrity, equity, community — at the center of everything we do.
Fine Art for Every Space
Our fine art prints are created on acid-free, archival photographic and rag papers, and are made to order so you can customize your print size and frame to accommodate any space and budget. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, and our frames are handcrafted in California.
You can also give your fridge or file cabinet the gallery treatment with our eye-catching high-gloss button magnets, or take your art to go with our super soft, mid-weight print tees, ethically and sustainably made in Los Angeles of 100% combed and ringspun cotton.
Equity
When you buy art from Stolen Butter, you’re empowering artists to tell their stories. All of our collections were assembled by our artists and curated in collaboration with them, and 50% of the profit from every piece sold goes directly to the person who created it.
Integrity
We strive to maintain the highest standards of quality in our products and our practices. All of our products are ethically and sustainably made in California. And each of our archival photographic and fine art prints includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
Community
We bring people together by collaborating with small businesses, nonprofits and schools on initiatives that bring art into people’s lives. Our community is everything, and we care about its success.
