Gonzalo Adrian Battaglia’s graphic series Figures! invites readers into a strange and timeless world to co-author the fates of naked, swirly-eyed characters moving through small villages and rural landscapes. Employing a stream-of-consciousness approach to graphic storytelling, Battaglia leaves it to readers to fill in the motives, emotions, and purposes of each character as they are presented with different scenarios and experiences in each panel.
